Farm Visits

$150 for a group of 4

Private group interactions with lots of "hands on" opportunity. 

You will spend about an hour on our farm, getting up close and personal with our animals.  This visit is for those who want to brush a little, snap a few pics, and maybe even hug a cute hairy cow!   

After a brief introductory talk about cows, behavior, and safety concerns, you will be able to spend time with the cows.  You will brush them, feed them treats, and have opportunities to take lots of pictures.  Afterwards you can view other cows that were not in your interaction session and have some time to ask questions.

Expect to spend 1 hour on the farm, at least 30 minutes interacting.

The Educational visit is about 1.5 hours long and geared towards the keeping of cows and preparing to get them yourself.  We will walk amongst the animals, talking about whatever topics you have interest in.   People usually like to talk about fencing, raising, feeding, breeding, birthing, and socializing.   I am by no means an expert, but I am happy to share what I’ve learned over the years and more importantly, what I wish I knew before I brought home my first cows.  

The cost of the visit will be deducted from the purchase price of a calf Should you choose to add one of our calves to your farm.
